КВВГ - cables with copper conductors, plastic insulation and a plastic sheath, with or without protective coverings, intended for fixed connection to electrical instruments, apparatus and switchgear with a rated AC voltage of up to 660 V at a frequency of up to 100 Hz or a DC voltage of up to 1000 V at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C. The copper conductors of КВВГ cables are of solid (single-wire) construction. The insulated cores shall be twisted. A cable core with up to four untwisted insulated cores in the centre is permitted, provided that subsequent layers are present. КВВГ cables are intended for fixed connection to electrical instruments, apparatus and terminal assemblies of electrical switchgear. КВВГ cables are laid indoors, in ducts and tunnels, and in aggressive environments, provided they are not subjected to mechanical stress.
