Current transformers ТОЛ-20 current transformers are intended for installation in КРУ and КСО switchgear assemblies and serve to transmit the measurement information signal to measuring instruments and to protection and control devices, and to isolate secondary circuits from high voltage in AC electrical installations for a voltage class of up to 20 kV at a frequency of 50 ( 60)Hz. Transformers for differential protection are supplied to special order. ТОЛ-20-1 transformers are produced with one secondary winding for measurement and one secondary winding for protection. Transformers for a rated current of 1000 and 1500 A can be produced with two secondary windings for protection. ТОЛ-20 transformers are manufactured in climatic versions "Т" and "УХЛ", placement category 2.1, and are intended for operation indoors in 10kV indoor switchgear (ЗРУ) under the following conditions: altitude not more than 1000 m above sea level; ambient temperature, taking into account air overheating inside the КРУ - from minus 60°C to plus 50°C for version "УХЛ 2.1" and from minus 10°C to plus 55°C for version "Т2.1"; the environment is non-explosive and free of dust, chemically active gases and vapours in concentrations that destroy metal coatings and insulation; operating position of the current transformer - any.
