Transformer design The transformer tanks are welded. The assembled transformer is lifted by the lugs located on the transformer cover. At the bottom there are an oil drain plug, a plug for oil filling and oil sampling, and an earthing bolt. The tank cover carries the HV and LV bushings and an oil top-up plug. The active part consists of a magnetic core made of cold-rolled electrical steel, the windings, and the HV and LV leads. The transformer windings are made of copper wire. The HV and LV bushings are of outdoor type, removable, with porcelain bushing insulators. Assembly Final assembly is carried out carefully and precisely in accordance with the design documentation. The windings are placed and secured on the corresponding core limbs, after which the yoke is fitted, the electrical connections are made and vacuum drying is carried out. Before the active part is installed in the transformer tank, the winding connections, the transformation ratio and the phase displacement error are checked. Final assembly After thorough drying and checking of the tightening torques of the bolted connections, the active part is installed in the transformer tank, the transformer cover is fixed and the tank is filled with oil. At the final assembly stage the transformer is fitted with the accessories ordered. Tests All transformers undergo type and routine tests in accordance with ГОСТ 11677 and the regulatory documentation.
