Aluminium busbars АД 31 3*30*4000mm

Busbars Used in electrical engineering for building busbar trunking systems – current conductors designed for high voltage – and in busbar assemblies. The voltage in busbar trunking can be several thousand volts, and the current from 250 to 630 amperes. Aluminium electrical busbar is also used in main distribution switchboards. The design of power supply busbars involves a large amount of conductive material and a small amount of insulating material. Therefore, price remains one of the main criteria for choosing an aluminium busbar. An aluminium busbar, whose price compares favourably with that of an equivalent copper busbar, can withstand fairly high loads. To improve electrical conductivity, aluminium contacts are sometimes coated with a thin layer of copper. At chemical plants and oil and gas refineries, corrosive gases such as hydrogen sulphide are present in the air. Aluminium is resistant to hydrogen sulphide environments, whereas copper contacts require protection with a tin coating. Aluminium busbars are also preferable in assemblies where the weight of the device is an important factor, since the density of aluminium is about three times lower than that of iron and copper.
