ШФ-20Г high-voltage porcelain pin insulators are designed to insulate and support conductors on overhead power lines with a voltage of up to 20 kV. The letter "Г" in the ШФ-20Г insulator marking denotes the modification index of the insulator and indirectly indicates the production period. Accordingly, the ШФ-20, ШФ-20А, ШФ-20Б and ШФ-20В insulators are now obsolete and are no longer manufactured. Compared with the ШФ-20В insulator, the ШФ-20Г insulator has a creepage distance that is 15 mm longer and improved technical characteristics, while the mounting dimensions of the insulator remain unchanged. The ШФ-20Г is the most widely used porcelain pin insulator for lines with bare and insulated conductors. Compared with the ШФ-10Г insulator, its creepage distance is more than 1,5 times longer.
