Insulator SM 76 Busbar insulators are used to mount live busbars inside power cabinets and assemblies in order to fix the live parts and insulate them from the enclosure and assembly panels, with subsequent connection of power conductors for distributing electricity inside the board. On one side the insulator is fastened with a bolt to the mounting plate or enclosure; on the other side the live busbar is fastened to the insulator. Each busbar is mounted on at least two insulators (at the ends of the busbar), and intermediate insulators may also be installed (depending on the mounting arrangement and the busbar length).
